ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Hickman Marching Band is looking for a couple of piano players to play synthesizers this summer and fall as part of the marching band show!  You do not need to be enrolled in band to be able to participate as it is an extracurricular activity.  If you are interested please stop by the music office as soon as possible.  We know that you will have a great time!!

PE and athletic locks are to be turned in by June 3 or you will be fined.

STUDENTS: Please remember to clean your lockers out and turn your locks into your principal’s office before the end of the last day of school. A fine will be added for all locks and lockers not cleaned out and turned in.

Auditions for next year’s choirs will be held in the choir room by appointment through Mr. Felts.  Auditions consist of singing the first verse of either “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” or “Amazing Grace.”  Anyone can come and try out – no experience necessary!  At the end of next year, all choirs will have the chance to travel to Ireland for a 10-day performance tour . . . come and join so you won’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!

ATTENTION ALL A+ TUTORS: that were tutoring this school year. ALL hours are due on time sheets to the A+ office in the main office ASAP. You should have had plenty of time to finish your fifty hours even with all the snow days.

Did you miss the Hickman Review debut?  Or, do you still need to get a copy of the Hickman Review magazine?  Stop by room 140 (by guidance) to buy a copy.  The price is $8.

Are you interested in international relations or diplomacy? Do you want to know what’s going on in the world today? If you answered yes, then starting next year, you should join Model United Nations. If you are interested, be sure to talk to Mr. Diaz in Room 221.

Please join me in a moment of silence for Eric Alvarado who passed away, Friday, May 30.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.
